In the Name of the Father

We pray in the name of the father
and then we restart our bloody life.
We kick someone's ass,
we dig someone's grave,
we laugh at everybody's back
and we rejoice when someone pales.
We might be thieves and liars,
even naughty jokers and spoilers.
We may drink our neighbour’s wine
and spit at him as reward.

But even we, the creepiest lads
know the meaning of respect.
The dirtiest mind holds a place
for an altar deep inside.
Yes, we have our fears
and our precious holy grails.
So when we start our long journey
we consecrate our acts
to our sacred and beloved

in the name of them... In The Name Of The Father.
